Guidelines on submitting stories
1. Read the biographies. They are available for those who wish to role play and write stories. Stay true to each character's intent and style. Ask yourself, "Would I want someone to do this with my character?"

2. No crossovers. Please keep your stories in the Star Trek universe, so we can incorporate them into our timeline. Not that crossovers can't be fun, but we leave them to other clubs and other websites.

3. Do your research. Timelines are available as well as ship names and registries. Watch the show--this way you can see if there are any conflicts within the universe.

4. Keep it interesting. Don't just recycle old plots--strive for originality. Perhaps you could take a different perspective on an episode or make an addtion to add depth to the situation.

5. Keep your story PG/PG-13. Your character can have sex, we just don't want to see it. No slash stories, please. As far as language goes, "Hell" and "Damn" are acceptable, but it's more creative to write eloquently than to fill in the standard profanities. This is not South Park.

6. We will never reject your story outright. If there are problems, we will make suggestiions to make it acceptable for website use. We will help you as much as you want or need. Remember, the world will see this.

7. We only edit your story for grammar and spelling. This makes both of us look good. We will not destroy the intent or flow of your story.
