Soshek was born on Stardate 7008.I3 on Shikahr on Vulcan. His father is Serek, who was Commanding Officer of the U.S.S. Intrepid II, NCC-I738, a Constitution class starship, and his mother, Lt. Commander T'Prana, a Veterinarian. A Starfleet brat, entered Starfleet Academy on 2286. He graduated in 9006.2I, 7th in his class as an Engineer. This was always his first love, even when his father took them on board ship and toured them. He was always chatting it up with the Chief Engineer about this and that, learning about the ship's engines.
His first assignment as an Ensign was on board the U.S.S. Enterprise, NCC-I70I-A, a Constitution class starship, under Capt. James Kirk. He was an engineer under Capt. "Scotty" Scott, based on his legends at the academy, he was working with "The Miracle Worker". He participated in the Klingon Peace Conference as one of the crew. He was aware that the ship was to be decommissioned and he saw the sadness in Scotty's eyes as to that fact. He wanted to retire with a bang.
He was later promoted to Lieutenant junior grade and was assigned to the U.S.S. Excelsior, NCC-2000, an Excelsior class starship, he was still an engineer. His sister was previously assigned and her legend stuck with Soshek, fortunately, it didn’t faze him a bit.
Two years later, he was promoted to Lieutenant, and was assigned to the U.S.S. Hathaway, NCC-2593, a Constellation class starship as the Assistant Chief Engineer. he ended up staying for 30 years rising to the rank of Captain, and as Captain of Engineering. Needless to say, his experience paid off and he achieved what he wished.
On A2505.28, He was offered a Rear Admiral's rank and was asked to serve as Chief Engineer/Starfleet. Needless to say, he jumped at the chance to create and enforce Engineering policy as well as see the new technology as it was being built. About I0 years ago he accepted the post of Inspector General and was promoted to Vice Admiral. he still hold this post today, inspecting new ships and being out in the galaxy, occasionally wandering into Engineering for a look.

A once and always tinkerer, he is forever rebuilding or creating something. He enjoys music and art. He dislikes slackers and idiots and politics.

PERSONALITY:

He is not what you would expect. He is not driven like his father or sister, he is more subdued. he takes time, contemplates the problem, and makes his decisions. He enjoys Starfleet because so much of his family is in it. He also tends to frequent the Council Chambers only because of his grandfather and uncles. Overall, he is just a Vulcan that enjoys arts and engines.
