Using SANDAG traffic volume information, I've identified road segments in San Diego (interactive map) with high numbers of PM commuters returning home to Darrel Issa'a district (1000's per hour); within San Diego County, this is principally Poway, Ramona, eastern Ranch Bernardo, and portions of Escondido in the north, and Santee, Lakeside, and Rancho San Diego in the south. Together these represent about 1/3 of Issa's district.
I have a hunch that low-key signage or picket/protest displays might be effective in turning some of these folks one or two notches closer towards the middle, and potentially incentivise Darrel Issa to break with Trump on the most egregious issues. Or at least make him sweat.
The messaging would have to be somewhat subtle - we want to catch folks who are feeling some discomfort at Trump/Musk and steer them in the right direction, but if we push too hard they'll go on defense and we'll lose them.

Pomeradro Rd / Scripps Poway Parkway seems like it could be very effective catching folks heading home to Poway and Ramona.Roadside 24x18 election-style signs could be arranged "Burma Shave" style with a larger message.
